The only thing that really brings success is this
Staying Consistent: Just getting started is not enough. You must be consistent day in and day out. Most people fall off within first months of doing anything, just like all the people who make their New Year's resolution to get fit and by March the GYM is empty again.
Being Passionate: I don't care what ever it is you're doing. You'll not be consistent if you're not passionate about it. For example, I get tons of digital markers trying to sell me on bit coin, Forex, or whatever they may have. I guarantee none of those people will be selling their product in the next 24 months. Why because they are trying to sell something to get rich quick, and aren't truly passionate about it.
Staying Persistent: This is the biggie. OK you've been consistent and you're passionate, but the only problem is you fold when you get rejection. When I first started building my businesses I got so many no's I wanted to cry. Then one day I got the biggest yes that changed everything. It's to the point my close ratio in the last six months has been better than 67%. Actually I don't have cold call much these days, because I stayed so persistent in the beginning the people I spoke to a year ago are now calling me to give me their business.
Relationships: I spend most of my time building relationships with those who matter to me and the powerful who can influence others by giving them my attention and always bringing something to the table. I never expect a free lunch, but I will give one to build the relationships that will help me grow as person and in business.
