Good evening all. Hope you’ve all had a lovely day. I got taken out for Dim Sum today by the family for Mother’s Day. Then I realised I needed to go Ikea to buy a prop and it was so convenient that it was Mother’s Day because there was no fussing in the car 😂🙌🏻.
I’ve written a NEW BLOG post tonight if you fancy reading and also a little reminder that the Amara give away will be ending tomorrow Monday 8pm,so do enter if you fancy ( details 2 photos back).
Will be catching up with all your photos tonight. Have a lovely evening x
Happy Friday, Insta! One of my favorite books of this past fall - architect Gil Schafer's A Place to Call Home - finally satisfied my curiosity about this room. If you follow here for some time you might know how much I love this space (a lot!) and I was thrilled to finally piece together the missing elevations! 😊 Design by @ritakonig

Located in a small village south of Lisbon, Portugal, a former winery is converted into a stark, sleek family home by @extrastudio . With the mild, Mediterranean climate, the region is perfect for winemaking—in fact, the clients’ grandparents were vintners on the property in the early 20th century. Preservation was a guiding principle of the project: an orange grove remains today, and all existing materials were upcycled. A natural red pigment was added to the mortar to create a striking exterior that changes depending on humidity and precipitation. Click the link in bio to see more.
